How many boxes of hair dye do I need for long hair?
I am naturally dirty blonde, but I have been getting highlights for years. I am planning on dying my hair a couple shades darker ash blonde for the fall (from about a level 8.5 to a 6 or 7), and my hair reaches past my bra-line at it’s longest point.
How many boxes will I need, one or two? Thanks in advance!
It’s pretty fine… unfortunately.
I dyed my hair a few months back, and that point it was even longer than what you describe your hair as, and I only used one box. I have pretty thick hair, too…. but I have layers, so that thins it out. I bought two boxes in case, but only ended up using one [even had some extra dye at the end. Not much, but some]. You might want to do the same just ’cause you never know, but you’re probably good with one.
