can you shrink Chiffon fabric? (read info)?
Okay, so my cousin has a bright pink pettiskirt petticoat skirt, but its to long, so we where wondering could we put it in the wash and would it shrink it? and would it loose its color?
Also if you know could you give washing instructions
(ps the skirt is perfectly clean, so we would only be washing it for the shrinking purpose)

Chances are it’s polyester, which doesn’t shrink. And if it did shrink, the seams would be horribly puckered.
Easy way to alter these types of skirts is to take them up at the waistline.
